Sunday Ponderings

As I prepare to open my centre this year, dedicated to helping individuals navigate their minds through creativity and play, I’ve been diving deep into researching crowd funding and small business grants. While I haven’t yet secured funding through these avenues, I am hopeful and excited about the possibilities they offer to bring my vision to life.

Starting a new venture is always a mix of passion and challenges for anybody and especially in today’s financial climate, funding is often one of the most daunting aspects. Especially the initial set up costs. That’s why I’ve been exploring crowd funding as a way to invite people who share my mission to contribute. The idea of a community coming together to support something meaningful is truly inspiring, and I’m optimistic that, with the right outreach, this could be a powerful tool to help make my center a reality this year.

In addition to crowd funding, I’ve been researching small business grants that can provide essential financial support. There are many grants available specifically for small businesses that focus on community impact and social good, which aligns perfectly with the mission of my center. Although I haven’t secured any funding yet, I’m excited to apply and take full advantage of the opportunities available to help this project succeed, and especially in its first three years

I am so excited to launch this centre and to turn my dream into a reality
